Biography
From 1980–1988, Bishop Samuels, under the tutoring of the late Pastor Bury of The Bethel Tabernacle, held various positions in the body, which included Sunday School Teacher, Evangelist and Assistant Pastor.
During his time at Bethel Tabernacle, Bishop Samuels witnessed many changes, which eventually led him to serve under the leadership of Overseer Vaughan of the Miracle Church of God in Christ.
It was there, from 1989–2001, that his training came into full earnest for the role of Senior Pastor.
He enrolled with the CBI Bible Institute for four years and graduated with distinction.
Following his ordination, he was placed as the head of the London branch of the Miracle Church of God in Christ.
Bishop Samuels gives God thanks for his spiritual mentor, Overseer Vaughan, whose guidance and encouragement helped him give birth to Shield of Faith Ministries and grow the church from strength to strength to the present day.
